In Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, warm seasons, wooded property lines, decks, sheds, and attic/eave voids create perfect nesting conditions for hornets and wasps. When nests are near doors, patios, play areas, or trash cans, stings become a real risk—especially for kids, pets, and anyone with allergies. Common stinging insects we treat locally:

• Paper Wasps: Often build open, umbrella-shaped nests under eaves, porch ceilings, soffits, and railings.

• Yellowjackets: Typically, the most aggressive; frequently nest in the ground (lawns, mulch beds) or inside wall voids.

• Bald-Faced Hornets: Large aerial nests in trees, rooflines, and overhangs; highly defensive close to the nest.

• European Hornets: Larger, loud flyers that may nest in hollow walls, attics, or tree cavities.

What we do differently: we don’t just knock down visible insects—we find the nest and treat the source, including hidden voids and re-entry points.
